Thanks JB. It will be done.

I may have to stream WQXR this evening. I will probably miss them reading "The NY Times" at 5 PM like they used to do in the 80s, but I'm sure their playlist of Classical Music will be excellent, as it was way back then.

During the day, I stream Jazz from 6 AM (Bob Kelly's Morning Jazz @WUCF Orlando) until 10 AM. Then either WDCB Chicago, or KCSM San Francisco. In the early evenings it's on CJRT Toronto for "Dinner Jazz", then on to KSDS San Diego for evening Jazz. Sometimes bact to WUCF Orlando for "Night Flight" late night Jazz. Saturday and Sunday I have a special lineup of Jazz station streaming, but that's too long to post here.

Thanks again. Master Beethoven shall be observed, obeyed and well heard via stream.

Default Re: GoBH "Giorgio for Men" Shaving Cream

WARNING! This is awful! Buy/use at your own risk!

What's the problem? Although not labeled as such, it's brushless "shaving cream". NO lather. I squeezed some out of the tube onto my dampened brush, and I immediately saw the telltale "shine". Tried to "face lather", but no joy. I'd seen this once before... with another (marked as such) "brushless" shaving cream — Geoffrey Beene Grey Flannel (which was as awful as this stuff).

I was seduced! Tempted by the lure of a "trifecta". Oh, the Humanity!

OTOH, the matching aftershave balm is excellent. Go figure.

You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Czech and Speake are giving away complimentary shave soaps this weekend with orders over £60. Use the code:

2 years ago I got a No88 with the new formula. It was an utter disaster. It wouldn't hold lather. Not sure if things improved since then.
I was lucky to buy 6 pucks of the old O&C formula from Harrod's.

I also bought the new formulation of No.88. It was complete utter garbage. It would not form a lather at all. I used it as shower soap.
