Apparently I'm the exception, but I don't like the scent of Tabac. I use the cream and it lathers well, but the A/S just doesn't appeal to me, and the scent hangs around too long for one I don't like.

I have only used the soap.
Apparently it's an acquired kind of like.
I remember years ago I was repulsed by the smell.
Now I really like the smell and the top shelf performance.

I don't like the scent. Might be a good performer but I cannot get past that.
Something for everyone, I suppose.

I'm another one who likes the scent and performance. I've been out for a good while. Time to get some more of that and MWF. Problem is, I've got enough of the newer artisan samples to last me for years, probably. Maybe Santa Claus will hook me up!
There are many roads to sharp.

I just had a look, I commented in 2016 that I liked the soap , but the fragrance not so much. Well, I have since bought the aftershave, so I guess it has grown on me.

I have received a fair share of tabac over the years. Bought a tube and 2 free pucks. I usually give out to someone to dip their toes into wet shaving. This most recent puck is staying in-house, I'm a big fan of the the smell. Although my smell preferences can't really be trusted, or so I'm told...

The first time I used Tabac my wife said "Mmmmmmmm smells like daddy" later that week she said that she did not like being reminded of daddy every day!

I've ever only tried the cream iteration, which was a good performer. I've yet to here a bad word on the soap's performance. That scent, though...
Waaay to heavy, musky old-timey for me, which lingers for hours. No thank you.
Álvarez Gómez's "Barberia" line is as old-timey as I will use (a lovely line it is, with a bit more of an understated spicy scent as opposed to Tabac).
Best regards,
