Yes. I mix a little of this Cremo with water, utter cream, glycerin, and whatever shave soap I'm using that day in bowl. Tons of lather, great big lather! You can also use it straight from the tube in a bowl or on a brush (if you like to face lather). Pretty good stuff

Yep. Texas is famous for its hard water. In San Antonio, it comes out in limestone chunks from the facet. The Cremo never lets me down...
