I know I won't be.
Between you and Phrank, I know the soaps will be great!
You guys do some great reviews.
And the scent to me is not as top priority as some, but I do enjoy a good smelling soap
Thanks!!Look sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Going to try one of the others tonight - but as mentioned, the scents aren't there, think Krokus Saffron, barely there scent, luxury lather for sure, exceptional, and no other word for it - glide - the ATG pass was very surprising how smooth and easy it was...but in smelling the various tubs, it's very hard to distinguish between the scents, and I'm thinking these will end up like the Krokus, stellar soaps, but virtually unscented.
Would move these to Tier One for me if they hit the nose with a truly "Madmans' Bouquet", but I'll give them a couple more runs....

I tried Cold River Soap Works Glide this morning. Some thoughts
It arrived 4 days after I ordered it, pretty fast in my opinion.
The cost $22 includes shipping.
I have heard you should use about an almond sized portion of shaving creams, I used about 1/2 that for a two pass shave and had enough later left to do another pass.
The scent is complicated not sure what it is but I do like it.
The soap is really slick so the razor did seem to glide.
I recommend this soap.

Thanks Phrank, yeah Krokos is a great soap. But honestly, I can't smell the saffron at all. So we'll see about these.
And I do agree, tier one must hit the nose as well as all the other factors.
Thanks for adding your thoughts as well BozLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Banner day in Denver! The 3 CRSW flavors of Glide arrived along with a Fili 1st gen. DT 14, and a razor I've been chasing for a long time...a near mint Palmera 14.
Will post my impressions of the Glide after I take it for a test drive...now gotta decide which scent to try tomorrow morning....
Hey Dave, think of us not as dang enablers but rather as facilitators of better shaves!

Palmera #14, great score, feel down the face of the blade, and you'll feel that belly, beautiful belied hollow, hard to see (at least for me) but easy to feel - congrats on getting one of those.
My peeps will be contacting you later, and inquiring as to how you found that and we missed it, obviously some staff and personnel terminations I'm going to have to conduct prior to Xmas....missing a Palmera #14, no severance, terminated with cause coming their way....sheesh!!

Judicious ruthlessness must used at times like this on those scurvy staff; indeed, right after they open their family gifts, give them boot on Xmas day...will put the fear of You Know Who in any other laggard staff not up to par that have thus far escaped your notice, Andrew!
Mea culpa though for the thread diversion/hijack! Back on topic: Decided to try the Glide Olfactory Hue tomorrow with a classic Sheffield blade. Past few months have been too full, so it'll be fun to do a nice SOTD pic and write a review on the soap, which I've been looking forward to trying for a while!Jay
