I was one of the testers for this soap. It's almost a cream, and is softer than most croaps. Therefore, you have to be careful when loading the brush, only very light swirls, or you'll load far too much soap. As Pete mentioned, it doesn't take much. I make a few light swirls on the puck, then face lather, slowly adding water and building the lather. This lather holds A LOT of water, so keep adding it. It's the well hydrated lather that is responsible for it's excellent slickness and post shave face feel. I always use an AS and a balm after shaving, but don't need either with this soap. The three scents are on the light side, although I find them very pleasant. Madman's Bouquet is a little stronger scent than the other two. Olfactory Hue is probably my favorite, as I enjoy woody scents. Fragile Confusion almost has no scent in the jar, but appears when you lather, then fades in and out, and tends to stay with you after you shave, a light, warm, spicy scent. I enjoy using a lot of different soaps, but I find Glide to be the best performing soap I've ever used. The ingredient list is incredible, with three butters, goat milk, tallow, aloe vera, and jojoba oil. No wonder my face feels soft and well nourished all day.

I saw it back in stock a week or so ago - all three versions on the way.....very much looking forward to trying this stuff, and most likely, using it once of twice, then putting in the drawer and then chasing the next fix...it's sad having SAD.....

Glide is really great stuff! Shiny, slick lather, like melted ice cream.

I agree, very good performance. Post shave face feels great. I wish the scent was stronger...

Just tried the CRSW Glide, Madmans' Bouquet, very nice stuff, a small amount produces copious amounts of creamy lather, nice and thick, and stayed thick and consistent for three full passes.

The scent was subtle on the first go round, very nice on the nose, would like it stronger for sure, but no complaints, very nice to use.

The name, "Glide" is truly an application specific name for this soap - I do first pass WTG, then do XTG on the cheeks, then an ATG pass on the neck as my second set of passes, then for the 3rd and final pass, it's all ATG. It was noticeable how smooth and "friction free" the ATG pass was, like taking the puck down the ice....blade just slid up the neck and cheeks - very impressed.

Face beautifully hydrated afterwards, this is a super nice soap, two others sitting downstairs in the Glide family to try, very reasonable price at $22 USD, only comment would be scent could use a boost.

So far, I like it better than the Wholly Kaw soaps, it's so far firm in Tier 2 - we'll see if the other two blow the doors off in the scent department - to make it to the Top, Tier 1 - you've got to deliver all the goods.....

Highly recommend the soap though, Richard, splendid recommendation on this one - thanks

I'm sure that Larry is hearing all comments about scent strength. I know he's working on new scents, and I'd be surprised if they weren't at least as strong as his Select line of soaps. A cream/soap this good in terms of slickness and post shave face feel deserves the best in scents.
