I have seen Kiss My Face in other health food stores besides Whole Foods. I think it is more of a natural product so you will probably need to go to a health food store to find it.[/quote]
Amazon.com, it was only just a click away......

Proraso is a great shave cream and surprisingly enough Kiss My Face from Whole Foods lathers up quick and thick.

Can any one answear this question. I used a new shave cream. A sample someone gave me. One that has a glycerin base. Lathered up in my hand and brushed it on. I didn't get to all of my face in a timely manner. The forced hot air comes on in the bathroom and all of a sudden I'm seeing snow flakes. The soap dry up on my face and blew everywhere. Now this is a first.

Thanked: 19I'm a cream guy. I love the scents, and I get a thicker, richer, slicker lather with creams versus soaps. However, I do use some glycerine soap just to give it that extra slickness. Also, I find that the soaps I've used dry out my skin, and dry out the lather, too quickly.

Williams Mug Soap and hot, hard water in a mug has worked well for my face for many years. Follow with a splash of witch hazel and I'm set.
My shaving stuff adds up to about $15 per year.

Thanked: 0I've always been a cream person until I started using Mama Bear's glycerin soaps. I love the thinness of the soap so I know exactly what the blade is doing. I think I'll probably pick up some KMF and add a shot to the soap and see how that mixture does.

I put myself a little bit on the soap side despite that I use both soaps and creams. The reason for that is that I like to tak a wooden bowl in to my hand and it reminds me so called "good old days". I can get a good lather from a soap or a cream it doesn't matter. Maybe a good soap fits my skin a slightly better than a good cream.
I use the bowl almost every day just because it's the easiest to adjust a proper water in the. In the end it's also the faster than direct face lathering. I just love my bowl and it gives me a great vibes to do a lather in there.
I'm not a big fan of mixing things. Just want to keep it simple. Don't get me wrong I don't care if somebody love to shave with super or uberlather. It doesn't take anything away from me.
So in here every single day a plain soap lather or a plain cream lather.
About bowl heating.... At first I hunt a little bit a warm lather and occasionally I still do it. But 90 % of my shaves goes to "not so warm" lather. I like to warm up my brush in a warm water but that's it. Focus much more on making a suberb lather each day and enjoying that. The warm lather is better I admit that and it gives a more superior feeling but it's too slow to do it every day or morning. Some times when I want to enjoy with a time I could do hot towel treatment, warm lather, skin food or oil prep work and so on..
Brands that works well with my face are in soaps are 1. Dr Harris 2. T&H 3. MWF
and in creams 1. Trumpers 2. Lavanda 3. TOBS
Maybe this is posted before But I did not answered then.
