Thanked: 155"Wool fat" is lanolin, to the extent it is used in making the soap it will have ben saponified, to the extent that it was used to superfat the soap after trace, then it will largely remain as lanolin. Lanolin has long been used as a skin cream, so expect the lanolin in this soap to have similar effects, both possitive and negative. Chemically, lanolin is actually a micro wax and not a true fat. Petrolateum (petroleum jelly) is also a micro wax and has similar properties. Jojoba oil is probably the best micro-wax for on skin use.
