I recently visited an E&C store. The lady in the store was very rude and refused...yes refused to give me a sample of NOMAD.

I wrote the CEO and within a week a regional manager sent me a box with $300 worth of goodies in it.

Several tubes of Nomad, several bottles of the fragrance, delicate soap for clothes, hand creme, shower gel.

Sometimes bad service can be good!

I recently picked up a brush and a stand at Crabtree (double cashback gift certificate with Discover card - works for me). Friendly lady at that store would have probably sampled me to death had I not insisted otherwise. (She apparently has a particular fondness for giving demos of the lathering capacity of their shaving creams.) Managed to escape with just two of them (one of their sandalwood cream and one of ... I think Nomad, which they had preprepared in tubes to give away).

Either one of us could have experienced the exception case, but given the corporate reaction, I'd wager that it was you.
