Crabtree & Evelyn Shave Soap
I just tried a cake of Crabtree @ Evelyn Sweet Almond Oil shave soap today. Very nice stuff. Has a great vintage type aroma, nice creamy lather and plenty slippery. It actually puts my old stanby Surrey to shame.
About $5 a cake but well worth it. They have shops in some malls and online as well.
I have also discovered that Surrey has more than one shave soap. One has Lanolin, one does not. Very subtle difference to the label but the soaps are different colors, one pinkish cream, one pure white.

Thanked: 0I have used the C&E soap a few times and it seems to lather nicely even with our hard water here. It gives a nice glide to the razor, and last time I used a little preshave oil first. It layed a nice lather right over the oil.
