Fantabulous!!!
I echo what everyone has said so far. When I first heard about CarrieM's creams, I thought nothing of it. But then I tried it...and boy, am I glad I did. It truly lives up to its reputation.
Since I didn't have a base to judge some of those smells and wanted to venture a bit "outside the box", I got the Dragon's Blood and Bay Rum...Personally, my olfactory sense didn't care much for either smell...They are OK, but didn't rock my boat, so to speak. I did request for a few samples of her other smells, but never received them to see which ones will be on tap next . I think Karen was probably busy with all you guys' orders and forgot ...not a big deal!!
As for the cream:
One word description: FANTASTIC!!
1. The lather is out of this world...it takes ~30 sec longer than Trumper's to build a rich lather...but, well worth it
2. Thick lather lasts a long time
3. Cushion is thick
4. Blade glides over it
5. Very smooth shave
6. Remains hydrated during each pass...BIG Plus
Thank you Karen

I sent CarrieM a PM on here. How does one go about purchasing one (or more) of these amazing creams???

You're from Freeport?! I grew up in Islip!
A PM to Carrie should do just fine. If she hasn't returned your PM I'm sure she will in the near future. I think she has been getting a lot of PM's lately.“If you always do what you always did, you will always get what you always got.” (A. Einstein)

I'm from Bellmore, but living in Freeport now. Down by the nautical mile if you're familiar.
Anyway, I sent CarrieM a PM and within two business days, I had my creams at my door. The fragrances are AMAZING! I ordered the Black Rasberry Vanilla and she included two samples...Dragon's Blood and Cedar Sandlewood. Each one smells better than the next. I have not shaved with them yet, but am definitely looking forward to it. Great stuff!!!
Okay, now CarrieM needs to make a "Red Currant" scented cream or soap. That is one of my all time favorite scents and I have not found a cream or soap in that fragrance.

mmmmmmmmm smmooottthhhh
Just finished up a 3 pass shave using CarrieM's creams that I received today. I got the Blood Orange and the Frost and mixed the two using only about a nickle size dollop each. Wow is the best description I can come up with. My face is still tingling after 15 minutes. I was actually surprised by how the scents change from when you smell them in the tub to when they reach your face. The Frost smelt more floral than menthol but once i touched some water to it, BOOM! no more clogged sinuses. The Blood Orange is as CarrieM puts it "Think navel orange on steroids." It smelt so good I had to eat and orange to satisfy my craving. I would wholeheartedly recommend these creams to someone just starting out or the the experienced member, due to how forgiven they are when making lather and how amazing they smell. Yes I do plan on adding to my collection of two in the future.
Thanks much CarrieM.

Goodbye Proraso, Hello First Frost
Tis the season for humid drives to work in the morning. I started going to Proraso every day for that little bit of extra cooling. It made my commute a little more bearable.
Enter First Frost. It's definitely a bit colder than Proraso, but not "killer" cold. This stuff absolutely explodes in suds, even using this Semogue 1470 that I'm breaking in. Performance was on par with the Dragon's Blood I have, which is to say great.
My Proraso tube is in imminent danger of hitting the trash bin. I quite honestly can't see ever using it again, so long as I have access to First Frost.

Thanked: 4942Well I got my Dragon's Blood and you guys were right. Very nice!
Samples of the Blood Orange and Sasafras were super. I really like that Sasafras, but don't know what AS to match with it........
Have fun,

I have some Sasafras too; very cool scent. I'm gonna mix the Sas cream with Vanilla Bourbon soap to make Rootbeer Float Uberlather! Maybe I'll use whipped cream as AS...
