i'm currently trying to fall in love with mwf.. but it's just not doing it for me.. ubering it with c.o. bigelow helps a bit.. but overall i don't like the mwf as much as some of the other soaps i've used.. perhaps musgo is the answer..

and also.. isn't it only $8 online? how much was oh u beauty?

Ha maybe I haven't done my research good enough then, but I payed 10 and she gave me 15% off so when u consider shipping costs it's a win win, also I too CANNOT use mwf by itself for some reason so I just stick to uber with it, u could also buy some liquid lanolin and add it like u would glycerine to ur uber for an extra lanolin kick

    thanks matt..

it's strangely nice to hear i'm not alone with my mwf situation.. the thing is.. i got the puck at the same time i got pre de provence and in comparison.. the pre de provence is way more luxurious and moisturizing.. so it's partially the fault of bad timing..

i have also got the feeling that being a facelatherer is keeping me from really supermixing up the mwf and getting the lanolin to really do it's thing.. perhaps i need to bring out the gardening scuttle.

do you know where i could pick up some lanolin? is it found at cvs or rite aid or something?

i'll begin the search.. i have had great success in the past with adding small dabs of shea butter into my soaps.. especially with my soaptopia soaps. i image lanolin will produce the same results.

Here is a "trick" to MWF although honestly I never planned it, or even thought about it until it worked out that way...

I have most all my soaps in Anchor Hocking sugar bowls...

Now for the Glycerin based soaps, I gently melt them in using a double boiler method... But for the Hard Milled soaps that doesn't work, so I shred them up using a cheese grater, then press the shavings into the sugar bowl using a Espresso press and wax paper...

This re-milling process makes the MWF and the other hard milled soaps way easier to lather with...Try it on Williams, that one will really amaze you....

I'd say brushless, It comes in a tube, and on the back it say's to massage into face...I'm sure either way is fine.
