    Default Melting in microwave

I don't think the milled soaps will melt in the nuke (don't know for a fact), but the cold process soaps (like col conk) do. As for killing essential oils, if you don't get a great big wiff of of the aroma, you shouldn't be killing off the oils. You don't really need to completely melt the soaps, just long enough to liquify some so the puck drops down, maybe 10 secs on high. Try 5 second bursts to be safe. I use the very lightly scented amber Col Conk cause I don't like overly scented soaps; don't want to spell like the soap, same reason I don't use colognes or aftershaves, just don't like to smell like bay rum or whatever.
