Mama Bear's Lime Ice is nicely cool and refreshing. I use it during the summer months--along with her lime ice aftershave.

Another menthol shave cream is Ingram (Blue). Not too expensive. It has a nice menthol kick and smells quite masculine.

However, I hear that the Ingram's (Green) has even more menthol. I haven't tried it, though.

Contact Alraz and ask him to provide you with some of his Chillwhip - it is Noxema on steroids. If you like menthol then this is the one for you.

+1 for the lime ice. It isn't as strong as proraso but it's nice.

Despite my political differences with The Shave Den, I really must give credit where credit is due. TSD Iced Sub Zero is the best menthol soap/cream I have yet sampled.

Who is Alraz and how do I contact him?

For my punishment I will shave with Bombs for the next two shaves. Not much of a punishment, great stuff.

I have found PREP to be most robust cooling/menthol style cream(they also make a soap). If you use pre-shave's, I recommend 3P, as it too has some serious kick to it.

This is what I have tried:

PREP Cooling Shaving Cream | Fendrihan Shaving Store

3P Pre-Post Shaving Cream | Fendrihan Shaving Store

Being that you are in Texas you'll probably be able to find better deals south of the border, but at least you know what the package looks like now. Good luck!

Valobra soft soap in Menthol is very nice (though I prefer the Valobra shave stick)

I have some JM Fraser that has a nice kick to it, but I'm not sure I would say it's any stronger than Proraso. Good stuff though, and at a great price.

I'm kinda surprised nobody has mentioned Godrej Menthol Mist. I have tried many luxury brand creams, and this lanolin-enriched menthol bomb is still my favorite, with a fantastic face freeze (more than any other I have tried, way more than Proraso/Bigelow) and a sweet, spicy, exotic scent. You can get it for a couple of bucks. Follow it up with some $3 AV Ice Blue, and you've got a working man's wakeup better than a double espresso!
