Thread: Looking for Creams or Soaps with a Kick!!! Menthol Style!!!

Okay guys, I am looking for any soaps or creams that have that strong menthol refreshing, cooling feeling to them. I have tried Proraso and Bigelow, and they are okay, but left me wanting more. I have been told that the old Noxema is fantastic, but no longer made. I have also been told that Ingram Blue is good.

Can y'all recommend any good ones to try?

i didn't know there was anything stronger than proraso.. i'll be keeping an eye on this thread to see what's recommended.

CarrieM's "First Frost" is great stuff.

I'm not really big into the menthol feel, but I did pick up some Omega at a local pharmacy. It seems pretty strong to me. Cheep too!

+1 to mama bears awakenings. This stuff is pretty good. You could also pick up a few menthol crystals to add to your lather, but do so sparingly as they are strong.
I get most of my menthol kick from my aftershaves in the form of Osage Rub. Good stuff, super tingly and super cool.

I would check out CarrieM and AlRaz

its been a few years since i have tried it but i remember American Crew's shaving cream has a very noticable cooling/tingling effect.

Proraso has a good kick, but I prefer Santa Maria Novella Cream to it for overall performance, while maintaining a menthol kick.

Have any of you ever tried the old Noxema shave cream? I am told there are some vendors who still get it from time to time.
