Mein Deutcsh ist schlecht and so is my German spelling but you get the drift. Don't know what they are saying. Interesting though, I hope they have a good supply here in Canada then.

I picked up a tube in Cyprus, last year. (Recycled SOTD Pic)
It's not bad, on a par with Nivea.
I haven't seen it in the UK or in Qatar.
I had previously bought a tube around 1980, I think in Greece, I was hoping for a bit of nostalgia from the fragrance, however it was completely different.

Kaloderma is the reason I wetshave, about 3 years ago I went to the store to get a can of gunk, but instead bought a tube of this cream, (because it came with a crappy boar brush), and had a fantastic shave! That got me thinking about old style ways of shaving, I came across a Dovo Best in a knife shop bought it, looked around the web found a different forum, and eventually found my way here. I still use Kaloderma from time to time, it's a good product, and for 2 or 3 dollars its cheaper than canned gunk and performs far better.

Respect due mate. My soap/cream collection ocd has increased two fold since initial pms last year. Good stuff. Never thought I'd have so many things to choose from. Cheers fella!
It's good to see a thread that has praise for something simple and effective that isn't the norm, ie Palmolive and Arko. Hopefully more people try it as a result and enjoy it as much as we do!

Thanks for giving me the gist of it. As the tube says "Made in Germany", I find it hard to believe that they would do separate production runs using a different formula for their domestic market and one for the export market. Stranger things have happened though and they could just be right about that. In doing a search I did find a site that sells WWII original German military items. That site advertised for sale an issue metal container of Kaloderma believe it or not. Must be pretty funky by now but shows how popular it must have been even back then to be an issue item.

Nice looking kit you have. That Kaloderma tube sure looks different from what we get here in Canada.
