Me niether! It was very late at night and I was not up to lathering my face. BTW, I will represent to you gentlement that I live in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains near the Tahoe National Forest, and our water is from the snow melt of the Sierras. It's the best, cleanest, and most delicious water I have ever experienced from a tap, so that may be a factor. I have never had trouble lathering any soaps and creams, fortunately. So, now I'd like to see a picture of thebigspendur eating some soap!

I have one other brush, an AOS fine badger (I guess one grade below a silver tip), which you can see in the first picture. In my experience, that badger brush lathers better or easier than the boar that I am breaking in, although I do release a little bit of water from the badger, as it holds more than the boar. This badger brush also seems to have good backbone for loading soaps.
I am liking this little boar brush, and it is starting to feel soft on my face; however, it feels nothing like the badger, which I describe as super soft and full of warmth.

Well, I'll be a monkeys uncle.
Now come on and admit it either there was some trick photography there or you used some other soap. yea,... that's it... how do we know you used Williams? Want to take a lie detector test? har har.

There was another really good thread about this subject a few weeks back:
http://straightrazorpalace.com/soaps...me-lather.html
I had tried Williams many times before and never thought the stuff would even make decent hand soap. After I read the above thread, I soaked it in hot water during my shower. Put boar bristles to it, and in a few seconds, it looked like my brush was a big soft serve ice cream cone. (I didn't taste it, though, bigspendur. )
I still like Mama Bear's far better, but it was nice to learn something new about an old staple.
