    Default Mama Bear

Just received my Mama Bear unscented 100% natural shave soap today. Sadly, it came right after I had finished shaving with my AOS sensitive shave cream. I guess I will just have to try it tomorrow. Any tips with this soap, or is it a fairly straight forward soap? I have hard water if that makes a difference. Still waiting on my TOBS sandlewood soap to come in.

HATE when that happens! Never used it, but have heard really great things about it! Maybe someone with some personal experience can help you out!

It's a very straightforward soap and performs marvellously even with hard water.

Mama Bear's is very user friendly, Just like SRD's Soaps. Both of these are top performer's and lather up easily without much tweaking.

I hope you don't have any problems with the TOBS Sandalwood. It has a very strong Sandalwood fragrance. You mentioned sensitive skin. Different from any other Sandalwood I've tried.

I've got to order another alum bar from her. The one I've been using for a year, only has about 4 months left on it.

I am pretty sure that the sandalwood shouldn't bother me, I used to use the essential oil on my face for various reasons and I never had a problem with that so fingers crossed.

Absolutely love Mama Bear's soaps. GREAT lather!! The scent's are clean but not overbearing. Just enough scent lingers to give me some nice aroma therapy for several hours after shaving.

I have one of her unscented 100% natural soaps that I prefer to use when I am applying a scented aftershave, and it performs as well as the rest.

I have hard water with a water softener, and when I forget to add salt to the machinery I really notice no difference between lathering ability so I would guess that your hard water isn't going to be a factor.

    Happy bloodless shaves to you

I love my mama bears. Just ordered a couple new scents from her last week. I'm hoping they will be in today or tomrrow to try out with a new razor I purchased. Super excited.

I've tried several of hers, and concur on the lather.
