So far I have tried 55 different shaving products (mostly creams), only 7 of them have been soaps. I really can't wait to order the SRD sampler next time I place an order with them.

However, currently my top soaps are:
    1) LUSH - Halloween edition pumpkin spice. I melted down one of their soaps and it makes an excellent shave soap. They use rapeseed oil, which isn't tops but it works for me. The scent is just amazing! Why don't we see more people making seasonal scents like pumpkin spice in the shave world!
    2) Edwin Jagger - Sea Buckthorn
    3) Van Der Hagen - Scented (cheap and worked great for me when I first started out)

That's it, all the rest have sucked in one way or another. Can't stand MWF, will probably throw out the rest of the puck and reuse the mug it's in for something else.

Sorry for the late reply mate, it has been a hectic few weeks around here

You know, the Boellis is a divine scent, I love that stuff.
The C&S also, a bit more complex, but a winner in my book!
The soaps are very good, but in fairness, the MdC is a notch above.
Still, both are brilliant products IMO, and I'm sure you would enjoy both!

I prefer creams because I find I can get a denser lather with them, but when it comes to soaps Arko is my favorite.

I'm still finding out'about soaps and creams after 2 years shaving with straight razors. My favorites at this stage are (in any order)
    RazorRock La Famiglia Don Marco
    Provence Santé Verlaine
    SRD Vetiver
    L'Occitane
    Omega
