Thanked: 194Chances are unless you are living in England. You are NOT going to find it in any local shops. Try Welcome To Connaught Shaving they have it for the best price I have found

Thanked: 5Not necessarily, I haven't been able to find it in any shops I've looked in, so I resort to buying this wonderful soap off amazon. Then again I get a lot of stuff off there anyway so it just seemed second nature to look on there.
And gsingh13 it truly is a wonderful soap I use it daily and wouldn't be without it. And if you can find anywhere in the north east that stocks it I'd be more than grateful to find out where... Although so far it seems as though one puck is all you need, this stuff seems to last for ever!

I'm using a sample from Garry's Sample Shop right now. Even a sample will last quite a while.

Thanked: 1195However you end up procuring it, MWF is an outstanding soap. You will not regret your purchase

It is good stuff. I normally just face lather with it. I was able to pick up the ceramic dish w/soap across the pond on the cheap. Wingham Wool Work. I bought some hand/bath soaps, and a few other things to make it worth my while. SRD carries it now.
It Uber's great (not that it needs it, but it's fun) with Musgo Real + 5 drops glycerin. Gssixgun calls this "Lanolin Overload"We have assumed control !

Thanked: 1185Yeah that! Naturally, being on the other side of the pond, I have to buy it on-line but it is, without question worth the additional trouble. The more I play around with soaps and creams the more I come to the conclusion that I could be quite happy if my soap rotation only included MWF and Tabac. It seems that all the others (although there are some great soaps in the mix) are there just for variety sake. It never seems to take me long to get back to MWF. I'm 1OLDGI and I'm a chubby chaser
The older I get, the better I was

Thanked: 0Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap
Thanks for posting such a great link! I checked it out, and it's unreal how cheap that website is. Not just for the MWF either. I'm very new to wet shaving, and have only used VDH so far, so I've been looking for a cheap place to buy a few different high quality soaps at once.
Just placed an order today from the place you linked. I got MWF with the bowl, Tabac with the bowl, Muehle Aloe Vera with the bowl, Proraso Green tea and oat in the tub, and Proraso sandalwood in the tub. Final price including shipping was just under $78. I checked the price for the same order on another site, and it was over $110. So thanks again!
Only downside is, shipping to the states can take up to three weeks. It's not going to be an easy wait. But I also have a couple razors on the way, so I can experiment with those while waiting for the soap.Last edited by JazzyJ; 05-22-2013 at 04:47 AM.
