pushbikes
Seeing as this corner of the forum is a bit spare I thought I'd start a thread about pushbikes.
I recently started riding mine again after a long hiatus, I don't get out too often due to my work but nowt I can do about it.
It is a dawes galaxy tour, I got it for £10 about that many years ago.
It is currently 8 speed but I am thinking of reinstating the other 2 front chainrings.
My favourite tyres are bontrager racelites as they are fairly tough but also slick. In the uk I rode through glass and.all sorts on them, it's quite important not to swerve in heavy traffic. But aussie roads (or my increased weight) seem to cause more punctures.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

Yeah ?
We we say "pushbike" around here it's one without a drivetrain, or chain removed.
I ride SS (one gear) ATB, and "normal" derailleur equipped "racing inspired" roadie. I made them.
I want to make more. As soon as I get a regular job I'll continue funding my shop to kick it off proper.
But back to riding. I prefer off-road, but also put in plenty of road miles. I run serious lighting day and night as cars are dangerous (operators of such). Would like to have a fendered, gen-lighted, rack-equipped, flip/flop townie, but have a CX "in the jig" and another ATB to build next (when shop is funded).
Pedal on.

I have a mate in Brisbane who makes 'em. Lewellyn is the name (Dazza).

Thanked: 60Never heard the term pushbike before. It's too cold and snowy to ride here currently, but I have a Breezer Greenway sitting in my garage awaiting warmer days.
