Rerun hockey is better than no hockey. The other night I watched the miracle on ice game from the 1980 Olympics

Not having a lot of hockey history growing up I missed that game series but I have heard the legend of it around the tribal fire. Once again I regret the time I missed. I'll have to see if I can find video of that series. Thanks for that Bob

Enjoyed a rerun last night on the NHL channel of game 2 of the 1987 Cup Finals, Flyers losing to Edmonton in overtime. All the great Oiler players were on the ice and its was fun to see a couple guys still going without helmets. I forgot that continued into the late 1980s. Stay safe everyone.

I've been watching reruns too. Here it's Lightning playoff games from '03 and '04. Dave Andreyuchuk, Marty St Louis, Vinnie Lecavalier. Tonight I watched them beat the caps in the first round. God I love to see the Caps lose, especially to the Lightning. No offense to any Washington fans. Jaromir Jagr was still playing for the Caps. I guess the networks figure we all want to see our teams win big. Can't say they're wrong.

Thanked: 17I coach 4 hockey teams during the season, and play on 2 adult league teams. I'm on the ice 9 or 10 times a week. Now it's been nothing since like February. Went from 6 days a week to nothing. Finally was able to get my 10U team on the ice Tuesday night. It was so nice to skate again with the boys, even to smell the rink.
