Well, I guess we all see what we want to see. They took some bad penalties and paid for it early in the second and then outplayed the Rangers for the rest of the game. Shots were not even close: 30-52 and the flow of the play never tipped back toward New York once the Bolts got back on their footing.

You get used to this being a Lightning fan. Every year since 2019 the 'casters are saying how this team or that team is going to hand Tampa their arse but then the bolts will win it.

Keep in mind that TBL swept the highest scoring team in 26 years WITHOUT the highest scoring player in the playoffs for the last 3 years straight (Brandon Point) AND they just beat a team that HAD a 5-0-0 record over them this year without him also.

I don't know who is going to win but I'm just saying that they surprise a lot of people. We'll know soon enough.

Tampa had to play like their hair was on fire in game 3…..or go down 0-3. Game 4 should be a beauty.
