You do realize that Dovo Green paste and the Green Chromium Oxide pastes that people discuss on here, are two totally different things...

Most of the CrOx pastes for razors are at about .50 Microns

The Dovo green paste is part of their system of pastes that goes Green - Red - Black, only the Black is designed to be shaved off of..

The part about Dovo pastes

Pastes can be used after the hones and before the final stropping also these can be used for re-freshing the edge before going back to the hones for a touch-up... Some shavers even use pastes to "sharpen" the razor after the bevel set has been done...

A few different types

Dovo Pastes:

Green 5-8 micron
Red 3-5 micron
Black 1-3 micron
Dovo pastes are a much more mild cutter then say a diamond paste of the same micron size...


To answer the original question... Years it takes Years for the Dovo paste to dry, that is why you apply it very lightly
