Thread: Identifying a convex bevel caused by extensive pasted stropping

Personally i did a test similar to Glen's on 2 razors, but with CBN, i gave up after close to a year and both razors didnt show any problems what so ever.

I dont see any issues with your routine, and certainly would not worry about a convex edge.Perhaps you could skip the paste to every other shave?

It would be interesting if there was a machine that would strop a razor 24/7 perfectly, and have someone test the edge to see how long it would last.
