I've got this idea for a travel strop. Being new at this you all can tell me why it won't work. And if somone runs with this I would like one. I just don't have time to build it. It would be a wooden paddle with leather on one side. It would be 9" long because that would fit in my shaving bag. It would have a removable handle that would store in the back in a compartment with room for one razor. It would have a slide lid over the razor and stored handle. This would protect the razor and the handle would attach to make it easier to strop.

If someone uses this idea mine would come with a new Dovo stanless razor shave ready.

    Don,
Thiers Issard makes something similar although quite small with too short a handle I think. It has leather on 2 sides and a top that swings aside like an old pencil box. I have one and enjoy it but feel it can be improved upon.

as a matter of fact some clever friends are cobbling one up now <g>
