How many strokes
When using the TI paste, how many times do you all recommend to tune up an already sharp blade just beginning to pull?

Interesting to compare strokes Dave. With my chromium oxide pasted strop, I use a few more strokes and with my highly polished Premier barber hone slightly less (on average about 3-4). When finishing up on the strop I use slightly more (30-50 reps).
Jmsbcknr, it's not just determining how many strokes to use, but as Dave pointed out, also the amount of pressure to apply. I expect most of use slightly different amounts of pressure and so the amount of strokes required will vary accordingly. In addition to the grit size of the pastes and hones used, the temper of the steel will also make a difference. Harder steel will require more strokes than others.
