Thanked: 10Love English Bridle
So I got an English Bridle strop from SRD for Christmas, just got around to using it for the first time today. Love it, nice drag but not to much, I also have the red latigo but I think I prefer the bridle. Both are awesome, really like both. Nothing like new toys.
Just wanted to throw that out there for anyone that wanted another opinion.
Thanks
Jared

Thanked: 1263I've been eyeing the bridal one up for awhile now but haven't pulled the trigger since I just got the latigo about a month or so ago and love it. Nice to hear another review on it...I just may have to do it...darn AD's! lol

Congratulations on your strop. If there are better strops out there, I'm sure I haven't used it. I have a Premium I that I'm breaking in now, and it's very nice too.

Thanked: 993I have both the Bridle and the Premium I. I love them both to the point where I use each of them when I strop. 30 on the webbing, then 60 on the leather (30 bridle, 30 premium1).
However! The feeling of the bridle after you rub it with the palm of your hand for a minute or so, is succulent. It's almost a "soft" stropping feeling.
Gotta love the toys!

Love English Bridle
Hello, welshwizard:
I think she's the one who keeps me in line by showing the patience and understanding of an angle.
She once asked me why I needed all those strops and when I gave her some fantastic reason, she flashed a devilish smile and shuffled away. She continues to outsmart me.
Regards,
Obie

Thanked: 1195Thanks for reminding me, if I didn't just buy a razor set the English bridle strop was likely to be my next purchase. I've been eyeing that strop for a while now....
Oh wait, never mind I have more razors on the way
