It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.

The IBSCS is definitely in your corner!
Please give us a full review of it's performance.
It has a very light draw but worked really well! I may add something to give it a bit more bite (neatsfoot maybe??) but since I had a really, really nice shave after using it, I may hold off to see if that was a fluke.

I did, yeah. I don't have any kind of strop conditioner or anything like that and have just used the old hand-rubbing technique on my Latigo. Seems to work for me.

But now I'm curious - what are peoples thoughts on the various conditioners, treatments, etc. As I said I'm considering putting on some neatsfoot oil. I have an advantage in that I have a bunch of the same leather that I can test it on. But what if anything do you all put on your leather strops?

Got boot conditioner. Would that be something that would work?

Your strops don't need it, its new leather. If you Really want to, put a few drops in your palm rub your strop down. I used to use the stuff on horse tack, bridles, saddles etc. A little goes a long way.

Gents a favor please as this gets longer and longer when you hit the "reply with quote" can you guys take out the Attachments so that the pics and Vids don't keep repeating over and over much the same as we do in the SOTD so we don't overload the thread

    Many thanks guys
