Well, since the humour went over like a lead balloon lets just drop it and keep this thread serious and to the matter at hand.

I for one would like the homunculus Neil Miller to wear a hair shirt for all the mean things he has said to me on this forum even if they were deserved.

If you are that concerned take it to PMs and let this thread get back on track. Wash your laundry in private.

Not concerned at all....was a joke between Neil and myself and for Neil's sake you might say 'don't wash your dirty linen in public.' I'm pretty sure the OP part of this thread has terminated.

WW243 I'm sure you realize that humor is a suggestive thing. Unless all parties involved, or observing, are aware that what they are reading is in humor other interpretations will occur. Without visible hints of expression and inflection words can be interpreted in many ways. And I know you are aware of the desire that all communications on this forum be conducted in a gentlemanly way. Yes, it can get out of hand, and that's where the thin line of interpretation occurs. Oft times, left unanswered, and not understood, the thread goes off course and gets contentious because of misunderstandings and verbal mayhem happens. For a test, read your entry without knowing any thing of the history behind it.

I think the hair shirt kind of tips it off that it is absurd.....but I'll try to be more mindful in the future.
