How do you hang your strop?
If I travel, it will easily come off the window crank.

Mine hangs on a hook on the side of a tall cabinet in the bathroom. I'll get a pic soon

For the actual stropping I hang my strop from a key ring that I zip tied to the bathroom doorknob. For me, this puts the end of the strop at the proper height. Simple and easy.

Because I'm on the road all the time, I need some thing easy. I loop a piece of para cord around the door knob creating a half hitch with extending loop and hook my strop to it.
A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.

At home with a hanging strop, I use a hook installed into the door molding approximately in line with my navel as to height. On the road, I use a Tensio hinged loom strop picked up from Dictum.
Edit: After use at home with the hanging strop, I store it on a hook located outside the bathroom door, in a little alcove. That way it is not subjected to constant fluctuations of humidity.Last edited by Brontosaurus; 03-05-2017 at 06:11 AM.
