The leather is so much thicker than I was anticipating. Still letting it warm up before I try it, but oh man I am one happy camper right now!!!!

How about posting a picture of that beauty when you can.

Congrats on the new strop! You will enjoy it every time you use it, it's such a wonderful strop. I got the same one a year ago last Christmas and couldn't be happier with it. Pure stropping bliss... priceless.

Congratulations, I’m sure you will enjoy it I have a 30000, a vintage Leopard 10000, an I bought myself the 4560 from Fendrihan which is the one with a handle just to try it out. I do love it too, the only other difference besides the handle is it has a little more draw an upon reading your post am looking at it before typing I realized thy it doesn’t have the kanayama logo (huh oh well).

Thanked: 1936What does all the different numbers mean? I'm sure it's level of "quality", but does someone have a link to educate myself?

I don’t believe the numbers have any real designation I do know the larger the number the longer the strop is an thicker the leather seems to be. The 80k an 90k both have suede strops as well.

Well here she is, so impressed by this strop. My edges seem to be just a touch sharper than usual also.
And for reference here's my other strop.
