Somehow Gabe and I got our wires crossed and he made me an extra-long one.
It's ridiculous!

hah! pm-ing you... I wondered once and again why you wanted your strop that long.. I tought to myself: dude, Tom likes luuuuuuxury! Your is (I think) 4" longer... and bro.. those 4 inches are indeed quite a luxury $$! :P

I think I remember what happened. I had Gabe get me 3 panels of roo for some Lipshaw strops.
I had problems measuring THAT. We finally got it right!
THEN, he thought I wanted an extra-long strop as I measured my horsehide one he made from hardware-to-end of handle. The length of the handle was what got us!
I am so happy it happened, however!
I discovered I have some long-stroke in me!
So fun to use.
