    Obviously...you owe it to yourself to add one of Tom's Tripoli Boar-hide #941 strops to your meager collection -- exquisitely restored NOS panels, sweet poly linen, and the same 2-1/2" size as your Kanayamas.

    I'm having difficulty deciding between a Kanayama or one of Gabe's roo strops. You aren't helping me much here, Alex.

    I have both of these strops, for the money I'd pick the Roo. I really like it and it was just about half as much as the Kanayama 80000. Plus dealing with Gabe is always pleasurable.

    Gabe's Roo strops are one of the best strops I've used. I like a light touch on a strop and the Roo provides that for me.

    Razor Emporium has very nice 3” wide Strops in most leathers.
