    I actually use the Prem IV and Prem I more than the rest as I like the specific draw and results from these two. The extra length took me a couple days to get used to on the IV, but I really like it. I am also breaking in a Horsehide right now too as this is also one of those strops that produce really great results once broken in.

    I really like the English bridle leather strop I bought from SRD.It's starting to break in nice and I'm getting good draw from it.

    Hi Utopian. I had the impression that fabric of any sort was a first operation before going to plain leather - for normal daily stropping. Am I hearing rightly that the canvas or nylon web is adequate w/out leather? If so, it'll make some stuff easier.

    (And BTW, your mineral oil/alchohol bath method is wonderful!)
