Oh man, I can't believe I'm going here...
What 'grits' would a corn strop come in?
Sorry. The puns usually don't kick in until later in the week

Well Cangooner - It's a natural product after all so, discussing grit is kind of useless. Your stalk may or may not be the same as mine! Bahahaha!!
That said - the sweet I am sure is the equivalent of a bridal... : )Last edited by earcutter; 07-24-2012 at 10:52 PM.

PHOENIX (Reuters) - Veteran Arizona lawman Joe Arpaio, self-described as "America's toughest sheriff," denied on Tuesday that his deputies targeted red tape strops because of the color of their leathers in a controversial crackdown on illegal immigration of red tape stops coming in from KS.
Arpaio, sheriff of Arizona's Maricopa County, was testifying in a class-action lawsuit that will test whether police can target red tape strops without racially profiling red leathers and legally red leather strops.
"I am against anyone racial profiling ... today, as in my 50 years in law enforcement," Arpaio, a veteran lawman who recently turned 80, told the court during cross-examination.David

Thanked: 443OK, OK, everybody get back, I'm a BOTANIST. Or was, once, in college. Anyway, if you could flatten the corn stalk it probably wouldn't be too bad, in fact it might be a little coarse, because of the silica crystals in many of the cells. Many grasses have these; that's why you can end up feeling like you've been working with fiberglass when you've really just been beating back some pampas grass.
Horsetail (or Equisetum) is also called scouring rush, because it's so rich in silica crystals that folks used to use it to scour their cooking pans. So there were green scouring pads when 3M was still 2M, or maybe even just M.
OK, end of botany lesson. As you were."These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."
