Gentlemen:
These are all excellent strops. The trio, however, needs one more strop to make it a proper quartet of topnotch strops. The fourth is the Neil Miller strop, from England. Neil's strops are a remarkable example of functional art that is handmade by a true artist. Good stuff.

I have come to strop on my hand, I do need a new hand tho...
Why so many strops, do you use stops in progression, is it a search for the perfect strop or just for fun?

Thanked: 3Just an FYI. JNS gets product from DK to Oh, USA in 4 days at the latest via DHL. A couple of times the shipments have arrived in 3 days. JNS is a wizard at service and delivery. I am not too price sensitive when I get a top quality product so quickly. Once JNS sent me an incorrect product, told me keep it (value $100+) as a gift and sent me the correct item which I had in 3 days. I gladly buy my JWS hones from JNS, as well as many other items.

For what it's worth, I recently purchased the 3 inch Red Latigo strop from JIm at Vintage Blades, I got the one with the white linen on the back, and I'm quite impressed. My first strop was a black Latigo from SRD, and of course I nicked, cut, and otherwise abused the hell outta that one! However, after some trimming, sanding, etc, its atill quite serviceable, and is actually the one I use pastes on now.

Thanked: 369Don't have experience with the strops mentioned, so can't comment on them. But I'm very happy with my IRS 361 which is available online for around $50.00 or less. IRS (Fromm) has been making straight razor strops for over 100 years.
