Thanked: 735OK, watched the vid. Excellent job! Very good instruction and tips.
Two other notes:
I've lately been using 20-21mm shave brushes.....your 28mm looks like it would smother me!
I also was a bit nervous watching the XTG pass above the mutton chops...the spike tip passing by the ol' eyeballs gave me the willies!
Again, nice job. It gave me satisfaction just watching a nice straight shave!

Very good video. I was hoping you were going to strop. I'd like to make a video that includes everything from honing, to stroping, to the shave. I keep hoping someone does that someday! It was very instructional.

Thanked: 13245Really well done, and I was happy to see somebody show the short strokes required around facial hair, I have never been able to accurately describe that to people, now I can link your vid.... You really demonstrated well how light your touch was, by many of the strokes you did, without, having to stretch the skin with the off hand....

Nice video.
I couldn't help but notice that you didn't consume any alcohol during or after the shave, though.

Thanks Jockeys, appreciate the slicing motion explanation especially.
And yes stropping tutorial would be interesting i'm sure.
