great video i stil find myself pressing to hard all the time. practice makes perfect. im like 14 shaves in or so...still a noob

Haha... yeah, no nude pics.

What I meant was that it didn't seem like your face was wet when you started lathering, and also in between passes it didn't look like you rinsed off before relathering. I always get my face good and wet before lathering, and thought that was the norm. I just didn't know if the dry lathering was a benefit to straight razor shaving and most of you guys do it that way, or if it's just a YMMV thing.

my face was damp. It's true that I don't rinse between passes but lather is mostly water so it seems to work out for me.

Thanks for the tips on grip and direction, I'll have to try those.
