I've read from several sources that disagree: one claims it's poisonous whereas the other claims that was never proven. Of course, I am unable to locate those sources now.
When working with (spalted) wood, I wear a 3M dust mask which has a built-in filter. I think that is a lot better than the hospital-style masks, as those are mainly designed to prevent spittle contamination.I want a lather whip
