Simply sand paper and Mothers mag. The one in the picture still has scratches, but was taken to 3k trizact from 3m. I will take more time with each piece to ensure flatness and scratches will be sanded out completely.

Thanks Mike, everything gets a bit better each time, that's all a guy can hope for.
I trust the adjustments to the wedge and the thinning of the scales has you in a more even tension on the blade.
Looks good. That shot of the grind is quite nice two. The are almost impossible with an autofocus camera.
A thought!
Where there is ivory....There is usually ebony.
Let's check those black keys!
Aloha!
Finishing up that Yankee Wedge today for shave tomorrow or Friday. Depends on how the honing goes. Don't expect any issues.
Next up may be my Hibbard-Spencer-Bartlett OVB (Our Very Best). Have these MOP scales laying around and thinking about putting them on, although they are a tad big as they sit. I also have some nice Hawaiian Koa scales (popular native Hawaiian wood that works and finishes well) that I am saving for the Solingen blade I have. We'll see how I feel when I finally get to the project next week. The blade is in decent shape as I have worked on it a bit before removing the black rust and stains. Just need some polishing and honing.
