Good luck Bob. What are you going to do to repair the scales and tang cover? I too have a razor that needs some tang cover work so thats for pointing out it was not peened. I'll have to take a close look at mine.
Whew! That seems pretty deep for you, Bob! :D
You can do it!
So lots of progress in my work area/grungy office.
Down to a concrete floor with glue coming off a bit at a time. Gritty. Vacuum constantly.
Still, a few good work areas. The old teacher's desk has draws right across. Big!
No more razzers under towels! :rofl2:

Determined to get the ducks lined-up before embarking upon anything else.
Sorry for the cruddy pics.....Its'a cruddy place! ;)
Looks nice Tom!
Im with you Tom, I have been dealing with too much disorganization for far too long.
Bob with those scales having cracks at the pins, I think you will be better off with a liner or with eyelets/collars from Babar. The eyelets will take the pressure load from the scales and apply it to the pivot or wedge, still allowing the scales to function correctly. Tom did a thread called how I pin MOP or similar. I cannot search from this device. It shows the collars/eyelets from an eBay seller with the user name of razor handles and how they work.
Flooring all tidied up and done hopefully from this weekend then into salvage cedar deck panela for the closet.

I have a nice razor coming tomorrow. I'll submit before and after photos soon. It has a great looking spine and wild point/toe.
