Being as I live in a very isolated area and need to order in almost everything, I have done this more than once. Sometimes it’s easy to do. You get looking at the correct belts and get distracted by grits or other items and order the wrong size by accident.
It helps me to write things down with a pencil.
It forces me to think about what I am doing and make me remember.
It is awful easy with a computer to make a typo and hit enter..........

When I was in Sub School we were told that instead of making a 'Mental note' and by writing something down it greatly increased your chance of recalling it.
With that said: If I don't write something down sure as s--t I'll forget it. :banghead:
Fixing-up things and reminding yourself of your idea on it in a note is quite efficient.
An idea must be applied!

I make notes all the time. The wife and I have note pads all over the house and in all vehicles. We blame it on old age and CRS syndrome.
