Amen to that.
Machine gun Mike firing them out.

Just pacing myself. Doing what I can, when I can for the Nipper.
Been lots of sanding for most of these last one's, cept the G. Johnson that's on the sanding block, right now. After that, the rest aren't too bad, just a lot more in scale repairs, than the last batch. Honey horn is a PITA for repairing, and not seeing it. Sometimes they change color a bit, later down the road. But y'all know me..gotta a few up my sleeve, and its my deal.

Looking good Mike. You've laid some type of a white material on your sanding jig. Is that to stop the razor from getting marked and scratched on the timber? What is it you used?
Yes sir, just to protect the blade from errant scratches.
Once I get to my final sanding, I'll tape the face of the blade with scotch tape, before doing the other side.
Don't take much to ruin hours of sanding at a high polish, with just a slip of the blade.
Its a piece of gorilla tape. Its heavy duty duct tape, in short.
I've had a bit of ADHD with projects lately. I have a bunch of things in progress and not much finished. The only one I have done (of my own) lately is this FBU

The blade wasn't in horrible condition but had a lot of hone wear that took a fair amount of sanding to correct and had apparently been buffed too heavily or something. You can see at to toe how it is rounded.
I still might take it back apart to do a little more sanding on the scales.
