Thank you! What diameter is it?? For the stand, it should go about 6." If so...Yes...perfect!! The vertical post and cradle will be an easy job! I dreaded having to design and build a cranked tool to form the rim on a new store bought mirror; could have hammer formed it but..more hours than I wish to spend...
Cheers

Edges have been sanded eaven, and I'm callin it quits for tonight. Tomorrow I'll make the wedge from brass, and get the scales thinned to somewhere around .083-.085", and bevel the edges.

Now its time for chicken fajitas and a movie, and for desert... A little something for show and tell.[emoji6]
This evening i am putting a finish on these Blue Mahoe scales for a W&B Extra Hollow.
I decided to try using the Tru-oil on these. I think they need to bottle that smell in a cologne.

Its not oily at all, very light, and very stiff. I figured this would be a good one for the tru-oil for those reasons. I gave it a good dousing in mineral spirits before i started to finish it.
I think they should rename it 'Grey Ass Wood' because that's what it looks like to me.
Same dude on ebay i got the Wenge from.
Still a cool looking wood.
Has a nice tight grain.
Looks strong.
Gentlemen, I showed some pics of a puma I wanted to clean up and get ready for a bevel. There was a lot wrong with this thing. I'm happy to say I think It's pretty ( for what it was) you can still see how fubared it was but it shined up nice. I couldn't take off to much like one person said the Pumas are thin.
