Nice work! :tu
I like that there are others out there besides me that will leave some history/battle scars instead of some who post and post over and over again with pictures of over buffed blades that Never Looked Like That in the first place!
I said it before and I'll say it again, Nice Work! :y

You'll be lucky to get two coats a day. If you do it right, and proper.
Follow the directions to a T.
The more coats, the better.
I like 8-10, or at least 3-4 after it fills the grain.
Its tedious, but well worth the wait.
I can usually get a couple other razors done, while coating, steel wooling, coating, steel wooling, coating, steel....well youll see. [emoji38]
This will take a few days for sure. I've learned to take my time with finishes. Steel wool in tacky shellac is not fun at all.
Yeah i got bored quick and started working on my next set.. pernambuco.
These were blanks an hour ago.

Finished up my first ebay purchase a boker edelweiss. Took me a while to get started since I was trying to source everything I might need. Cleaned it up without unpinning. Didn't go too nuts, thought I would leave some of the petina. Took out as much rust as I could luckily there wasn't much.
Used some Maas to clean it up and put it on the stones. Norton 1k 4k 8k naniwa 12k. Crox balsa and English bridle strop. Need to shave test it but need to let the beard grow a bit. Sorry for phone pics. Thanks for looking.
