I breadknifed on a Norton lapping stone to get the chips out. Then Norton 220, then 1K, then lapping film up to .03u. Finally, CrOx and FrOx on balsa, then strop. A great shave this morning!
I think it's the camera angle. The edge is flat.
Started with the frame for my beltgrinder this evening. Just me, a piece of steel and a hacksaw ;)
This is the result with all loose parts for now.

Strong there will be a device. The wheel will need to be pierced on the lathe. I use just the same wheel.
Just finished some custom scales for a friend. I did not pin the razor yet because he wants to buff it a little first.
Made from ivory paper micarta, wedge is buffalo horn, nickel-silver pin.

Had a few moments today to work on my beltgrinder. Made the tracking arm/mechanism. Still need to weld/clean it up, but it works like a charm :)

Finished up the scales and wedge on my first restore (FR Reynolds) last night and as I was peening the wedge end, the recon stone cracked! I was frustrated and now I am switching from a recon stone wedge to a maroon micarta instead.
