I finished my Joseph Elliott today. I decided on cocabla for the scales and wedge. Time for lunch and a beer.Attachment 248018Attachment 248017
Something about finishing a razor and grabbing a beer.. just seems right.
Looks great!
Nice work Erik.
Its funny how those bear paws for hands of yours, makes razors look so small. [emoji38]
I prefer something less filling, and works a bit faster.

I tend to combine the two :)
Ha ha ha, your right outback! The paws do make the razors look smaller.
That wild turkey look good, bet the bottle would look smaller also.
Nice job on the Joseph Elliot, it turned out great! I like the rattler grind
Picked up an old Boker "Our Leader" the other day with one of the plain black scales cracked through at the pivot. I thought the blade would be a good candidate for a pair of carved bone scales I received from RezDog/Shaun. A big thank you to Shaun for that. Finally got around to making a lead wedge and pinning it together today. She is honed and ready, I think, for the mornings shave.

Are those the scales that Shaun carved? I saw the blade in a previous post. I think?
It all came together swimmingly! :tu
