Preparing for a test shave, of a project razor, sent to me by a member. The heal a and stabilizer were already ground out, indicating there must have been a crack in it previously, ground out, and put away for some time.
So I cleaned it up, put it in some used/ reworked, honey horn scales, and honed up last nite

Beautiful work, Mike! If I remember right, this Wade & Butcher had a fairly long crack near the heel.
I was wondering how it was going to be fixed.
Searching for a particular previously posted pic of a damaged blade on this site is like sorting through a 5 gallon
bucket of used nuts and bolts for that one little set screw......
Oh well, here's the view from my back door this morning.....

Awesome job Mike!
Did you use the marine polish on that one?

Nice work Mike.
Flows well, and just fits those scales.
Sweet looking razor once more.
Enjoy the shaves.
