Very cool, Mint! It is a 'baseball bat' brush? ;)
Yes! I started down the path of a Simpson persian jar shape, but had to much meat in the wood and didn't want to attempt a straight line with my saw after I had taken it out of what little squareness there was. Mentally added a bit to the base of the handle and changed my design to the baseball bat.
It's appropriate to our "tradition" of home defense systems. Baseball bats by the bed. So every time someone in the family buys a house, they get a baseball bat as a gift.
,int, I think that show yet another way to skin that cat. Bats and bronze statuary are very good for home defence, along with a cast iron frying pan. The best part is they are not considered weapons.
Looks like my old craftsmen table saw. Cast and heavy! My dad burned the motor up but now that it's rebuilt it's a champ. Looks great Roy.

Thanks! If your motor is anything like the motor on Ski's saw it has to weigh between 40-50 lbs!
Originally the On and Off Switch was on the motor and Ski vividly recalls his dad using a stick to reach back and turn the saw off. Ski just left it in the On position and installed a light switch in a box inline so you can easily turn the saw on or off.
Mint very cool looking brush handle, the woods grain looks really cool.
Great job :tu
