    I will keep an eye on the scales. As to the stabilizer I have shaped the heel and tapered the stabilizer since this photo. Also the coti and thuri I am using are 50mm wide so I'm not sure but it would seem to help with such issues.

    Also lapped both stones then after using the coti I tried using the thuri with slurry made from the dmt, made a huge difference now the blade was popping hairs very well, took it straight to leather.
